Temporary District Shutdown for Emergency Pipeline Repair

Temporary District Shutdown for Emergency Pipeline Repair

Tumalo Irrigation District will temporarily suspend all water deliveries on 7/20/2026, beginning at approximately 3:00 pm to complete an emergency repair on the District's 84-inch transmission pipeline.

This pipeline serves as the District's primary conveyance facility, and the repair requires the system to be completely depressurized to allow crews to safely complete the work. During this shutdown, all water deliveries throughout the district will be unavailable.

Our crews will work continuously to complete the repair as safely and efficiently as possible. Once repairs are finished, the pipeline will be refilled, inspected, and gradually returned to normal operating pressure before water deliveries resume. Customers may experience a short delay as the system is recharged and flows stabilize across the District.

Estimated outage: 3:00 pm to approximately 6:30 pm

Please plan irrigation schedules accordingly and avoid relying on water deliveries during the outage window.

We recognize that any interruption in service is inconvenient and appreciate your patience as we complete this necessary work to maintain the reliability of the District's water delivery system.
