Tumalo Irrigation District

Tumalo Irrigation District is proud that approximately 83% of our current patrons are registered to vote in District elections. That is a strong level of participation, but we would like to see that number even higher.

TID is owned by and serves the landowners within the District. Decisions made by the Board of Directors can affect District operations, water delivery, infrastructure investments, modernization projects, and the District's long-term direction. Registering to vote gives eligible patrons the opportunity to participate in that process.

Are You Registered?

Being a TID patron does not automatically mean you are registered to vote in District elections. Under the District's Election Policy, an eligible person must be at least 18 years old, own land within the District or be purchasing land under a qualifying contract of sale, and be subject to District charges or assessments.

Eligible patrons must complete the District's voter registration process before they can vote in a TID election. Registration documents must be delivered to the District Office at least 21 days before Election Day and must include a completed Elector Registration Form and the required ownership documentation.

Once an Elector Registration Form has been received and certified, the registration remains in effect unless the elector updates the registration or is no longer eligible to vote.

Help Us Build on 83%

We appreciate the high level of participation we already have from TID patrons. Reaching 83% registration is something worth recognizing, but there is still an opportunity to bring more eligible patrons into the District's election process.
